The purpose of a Reiki session is to restore balance. 

To be 'unbalanced' is to be unwell. The Reiki energy tries to remove any blocks to achieving balance. It always works for what is good or best for the receiver. Reiki cannot be misused and can only do good. Reiki always comes in the quantity needed at that time and for the greatest good of the receiver.

What happens in a treatment session?  

The client remains fully clothed (shoes and tight belts are removed to allow the energy to flow freely) and lies on a massage table during this private session. 

A standard treatment consists of placing the hands on or just above positions around the head, shoulders, stomach, feet and back. In addition, the practitioner may use intuition to be guided to other positions for specific client conditions. Each position is held for approximately 3 to 5 minutes and the entire treatment usually lasts an average of 25 to 55 minutes, depending on the client’s need.

A treatment creates a wonderful, calming radiance that is deeply relaxing effects for both the pet and the owner.  Reiki can also be used to help with behavior issues such as aniexty and fear.  The length of time for our pets session is 15-30 minutes.
