Notes from the students!
I am co-shelter manager at a local Cincinnati shelter. We are very thankful to have Carla from Positive Paws helping us with our dogs at the shelter. She holds fun training classes and helps us with some of our more challenging dogs. She is very good at showing us (as shelter workers) how to handle the dogs properly and teaching us how to be calm around them. Which is very important in a shelter environment. Carla cares alot about helping all dogs be the best they can be! She has worked wonders with our dogs! Thanks Carla!

WHY POSITIVE PAWS IS “THE PET CENTER FOR YOUR FAMILY”!
Ratio of 4-5 dogs per instructor.
Handouts for each class.
Phone support for each family seven days a week.
Flexible schedule.
We like for all family members to attend.
For your comfort we have a climate controlled building.
The classes are goal oriented so you learn how to teach the behaviors in every day life situations. Goals such as these are covered in the classes:
Settle, Stay- teaching the dogs to lay down and be calm...even in class.
Sit- for petting, putting on leash, and before putting food bowl down.
Hello- A way to great people instead of jumping on them.
Walk On Loose Lead-we have many ways to help you and it works!
Leave It -This means do not put "whatever" in your mouth.
Go To Your Mat-This is great for dogs who run barking to the door.
Come- No more chasing after your dog.
. . .And much more
We treat each pet and family as an individual.
We treat each dog as an individual by observing you and your dog and giving you direction that will help you succeed. What works for one dog may not work for another. An example of that would be one dog only jumps up on people to greet them while another jumps up and then grabs the cloths. We would handle that situation as an individual issue for each family. Our classes are designed to give you the attention required.
